(More customer reviews)I bought this screen along with the Optoma HD20 High Definition 1080p DLP Home Theater Projector (Grey) for my home theater and it shows a fabulous picture.
Out of the box it was well assembled and the only thing required of me were my own mounting screws. I was pleased to see an RF and IR remote included for operating the screen as well as the optional wall mount switch with an optional 12V toggle.
Installation was simple, my friend and I mounted it to wall studs and finished in about 30 minutes. Like I said, all you need to buy are your choice of mounting screws as the case ships fully assembled and ready to mount. It takes about 40 seconds for the screen to completely lower or raise up. This is by design since this isn't a tensioned screen. If the motor were too fast, the screen might get folded up during rolling and cause a nasty crease or wrinkle like a window shade that went up too fast. The slow retraction makes sure this doesn't happen. This doesn't bother me anyway because it takes me longer than that to warm up the projector and find a Blu-Ray to watch. The electric motor is very quiet too as a bonus.
The quality of the screen material was astounding. I had heard some users having wrinkled screens but my screen turned out nice and smooth. Colors and blacks turn out nicely on it when watching movies. Let me tell you also, 150 inches of real-estate looks flat-out beautiful. Words cannot describe it.
I have to give this a 5-star rating because it exceeded what my original expectations were and has really enhanced my home theater experience for a really good price. Good luck.

(More customer reviews)This screen is very poorly made. I purchased one and looks great at first, but when I tried to use it, the nightmare began. The up and down stops did not work so the motor would stop at unpredictable locations. The remote control did not work at all, in fact the internal parts were loose and rattling. The manual control box cover is not designed to fasten tightly on the base, so it just pops off when it is hadled. The literature that accompanies the screen is very brief, hardly descriptive, and premature to be distributed with production units.
I called the manufacturer for help with this, before trying to return it, because shipping is expensive for these large items. To make a long story short, they first sent me a new remote, it didn't work either. They sent me instructions to set the up and down stops myself, they didn't work either. Then a new manual control box, the wrong one. I got a new unit, the screen was all wrinkled. Speaking with customer service, they were helpful but limited in capacity. A month later I bought a different screen.
The screen is trouble.

(More customer reviews)This screen is an amazing bargain, and truly puts the "theater" in home theater. We were trying to decide between the 100" and the 120". If your room can manage the 120", go for it. It's fantastic.
This is solid and easy to install, and the opening mechanism feels stable and smooth. The material is even, no creases or waves, and colors show up crisply without any issues.
One great thing to note is that this screen is compatible with the Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote with Color Touch Screen, so you can set up your Harmony remote to automatically open your screen when you turn everything on. If you don't have a Harmony Remote, there's also an optional wireless trigger out that you can get from Elite Screens and hook up to your projector, so that when you turn your projector on, it sends a signal to the screen that opens it.
You can get more expensive screens with tension, higher gains, or made of acoustic mesh so that your speakers can go right behind it, but this is a perfect entry-level price that does not feel or look entry-level at all.

(More customer reviews)This screen works fine, and images and clear and bright. The screen moves basically silently up and down which is great. I would recommend this and my only issues are:
- When you send the screen up to close with the remote, you have to stop it when it reaches the top or it will just start coming down again. Not a big deal, but you need to know this.
- The remote control receiver has to be connected on a wire and installed next to the screen which is a bit unsightly I think.

(More customer reviews)These screens are fantastic... the value for the money is incredible. I've had several over the years, and especially glad to have one in white now, to match the ceiling and go "low profile".
Hilights:
**Motorized feature is great for the "wow" factor when friends visit... saves you the hassle of yanking down a screen (and perhaps yanking it out of the ceiling if something catches).
**The image on screen is MUCH better than projected on a wall. I projected on white walls for years and was dumbfounded what I had been missing by not using a screen. If you're projecting on a wall, GET A SCREEN!
**The remotes are line of sight, so be aware of this when mounting. The screen does come with a little IR extender, but it's not the greatest design.
**The price for a screen this size is unheard of in the industry. It's an incredible deal, especially when coupled with a 1080p projector and bluray... you'll be blown away.
**Customer Services is AWESOME. They heard about my troubles out of the box (see below) and sent me a new screen, only asking for a section of the "old" screen to be cut out and sent in with the remotes. They sent the replacement via courrier at their expense. THAT is excellent customer service.
LowPoints:
**The screen brackets were bent out of the box... I had to bend back to get it to line up correctly and the powder-coated paint chipped off where the bends were. Not a huge deal, but lame for a brand-new out of the box experience.
**The screen had some white 'fingerprints' that were, while feint, still surprising to see... Someone in the factory obviously handled it while it was not dry or something... BUT as I mentioned above, the company made good.
**Do NOT order the $18 universal remote control or the $18 projector mount (they are advertised on materials shipped with the screen). The remote couldn't learn ANY of our electronics (Sony, Pioneer, Time Warner cable box, etc.) and the projector mount looks like it's for a barbie kit. No bueno.
Regardless of my (probably rare) bad experience, these screens are an AMAZING value for the money. Just look it over carefully when you unbox it. If it looks good, you can count on years of service and all your friends going "wow"!

(More customer reviews)I purchase this screen for my church worship service. I wasn't sure how really big it was or how it was going to look. I was surprised when it arrived how really big it was. It's a huge screen. Setup was easy. It came with two remotes plus the wall control which I didn't even bother to install. The wireless remote works from about 75 or more feet away. What i love about it is that you can stop it whereever you chose when rolling up or down. The screen rolls down fine and rolls back up without any problems whatsoever. I have been using this for 1 year now and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Elite screen rocks. It looks perfect.

(More customer reviews)Elite Screens are very cheaply made... I bought the Cinetension 2 and only after 5 months the screen gears had let go and the screen came unrolling out of the case.
The materal is very thin and the tension string does not really do anything.
Very Poor design.... DO NOT BOUGHT FROM Elite Screens.
