I have recorded several LPs & cassettes To CD & computer. Even non stereo (some of my LPs are More than 50 years old) sound great on IPod & Home entertainment center. Great service & price from Amazon. Don't bother with special shipping. I received my Crosley in two days & I specified free shipping.

TEAC LP-U200 Turntable USB Recorder and CD/Radio Review

TEAC LP-U200 Turntable USB Recorder and CD/Radio
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is the same unit as the Teac LP-R400 but instead or recording directly to CD it records to USB or SD card. I find this to be much more useful than recording to CD because now I can record for hours at the time and bring it with me to the Gym or listen at work. It can record to MP3 at 96, 128 or 160 Bits but not to WMA as stated above. No big loss as I do not like WMA format but Amazon should correct their description of this unit. The sound is better than I had expected and perhaps the best sounding unit in this category. Recording is very easy but automatic tract split does not work all that well so you are better off doing it yourself manually. Overall a very nice product.

Crosley Radio CR2413A-BK Memory Master II CD Recorder/USB (Black) Review

Crosley Radio CR2413A-BK Memory Master II CD Recorder/USB (Black)
Average Reviews:

At first, I though this product was what I wanted. But then I realized that the speakers are terrible and the outputs on the back aren't common for speaker outputs. THEN the turntable started sounding weird, the cd drive wouldn't open, and finally the system wouldn't turn on to function at all. So its been a complete waste of money. The return window is way too short and Crosley is not the easiest to deal with - their warranty covers a year and you have to pay for all the shipping to send it to them for repairs.

At last !!! All my great lp's and cassette tapes will be available on CD!!!! I have used this recorder thus far to transfer a couple tapes recorded in the 80's from live radio broadcasts, and transferred a couple of LP's that are not available to purchase. Great results, and easy to use

TEAC GF450K7 Turntable Cassette CD Recorder and Radio (Black) Review

TEAC GF450K7 Turntable Cassette CD Recorder and Radio (Black)
Average Reviews:

I purchased this unit after checking out many others- my only real objection is that it's black (that's why I didn't give it 5 stars), I would have preferred a wood grain, but aside from that the only problem I found was it's inability to sense the spaces between the tracks all the time. The sensor works about 80% of the time depending on the condition of the original, but of course you can easily do it manually. I was using it successfully about 5 minutes out of the box- one important thing- it needs "music" CD's not "computer" CD's. Not that easy to find and the retail store clerks didn't know there were two types of CD's. Finally I found them at Radio Shack. All in all it's a great unit and I recommend it highly.

Crosley CR44CD Turntable Console with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner Review

Crosley CR44CD Turntable Console with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had a Crosley portable turntable that I was pretty happy with that was lost, and I decided to upgrade with this model hoping for a fuller sound. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the guts of the small turntable put into a console body, and due to the pressboard construction (which is terrible for sound amplification) as well as the fact that the only speakers you have are two poor quality 4 inch ones blaring out the sides (probably the same speakers that were in the small turntables) it just sounds way too trebly for what it is. This model completely misses the point of the console design. I recommend getting a small crosley turntable if buying new, because for it's size, it sounds relatively nice and full, unlike this dinky waste of space. Booo!

The handsome CR44CD turntable console--which also includes a CD player and AM/FM radio--pays tribute to the classic consoles that were common fixtures in Depression-era homes. A must for listening to President Franklin Roosevelt's fireside chats, a Yankees or Dodgers game, or the latest serialized mystery, the consoles featured furniture-like cabinets that fit seamlessly in most living rooms--quite unlike the sleek, high-tech look of modern electronics. The CR44CD fits the same mold, with a cabinet made of handcrafted solid hardwoods and veneers. The grand yet cozy appearance is ideal for homes with traditional furnishings or listeners on a nostalgia kick.
Inside the console sits a three-speed (33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm) belt-drive turntable for listening to your favorite LPs, along with a front-loading CD player for enjoying more contemporary formats. The turntable and AM/FM radio are discreetly hidden under the hinged top lid, while the CD player's front slot is subtly integrated within the classic styling so as not to stand out. Feature-wise, the CD player offers a programmable 20-track memory and repeat play (one and all tracks), so listeners can create custom soundtracks for parties or casual listening. The analog AM/FM radio, meanwhile, comes with an external FM antenna to improve reception. Additional features include a diamond-stylus turntable needle and a pair of dynamic full-range stereo speakers.
The CR44CD, which sports a compelling oak finish, measures 21 by 36.25 by 13.25 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

I bought this a month ago and have absolutely fallen in love with it. It's extremely well made and so easy to use/control. The needle arm is heavy and made very well therefore, it doesn't skip/scratch when laying the needle on my vinyl which light arms do. The quality of sound is impeccable and it's so very aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't be happier and hope someone who reads this gets to experience the joys of this uniquely wonderful turntable/stereo.

The phonograph was invented in the 18th century by Thomas Edison, but has remained nearly the same for over a hundred years. Now you can retain the look of a classic phonograph but have the technology of the 21st century! This vintage, authentically wood-crafted turntable is equipped with an phonograph horn speaker, AM/FM radio, CD player, cassette deck, and an aux in jack for your iPod or MP3 player. It's also equipped with a USB port, so you can plug it into your computer and turn your favorite vinyl hits into digital MP3s. Use the included remote to control your device. The built-in speakers sound great, and you'll be enjoying the old classics and the new hits on this conversation piece in no time.
