(More customer reviews)The packaging is long. I had to move it to another location after I bought it and it barely fit into my Sienna minivan. Was a little worried since there's no other reviews, but glad to say everything went pretty smooth. Two negatives, 1) The package was missing the mason anchors, not a big deal since I wasn't going to install it in a brick wall or anything, but still...missing.
2) The screws that came with the screen are questionable. This screen is close to 60 lbs and they give screws I wouldn't trust to hold up my bicycle. I went to home depot and got the 5/16" lag screws that were 3" long. I live in CA and don't want this falling on me in case there's an earthquake.
It was mounted on my ceiling but I didn't need the full 24" black drop. The Elite adjustment pdf was totally wrong. They have since updated the pdf: [...] and it looks about right (expect Figure 10 and Figure 12 should be swapped). Adjust the black drop is the yellow hole, not the grey one. For me, turning it clockwise 1 full circle made the black drop retract 1/2". I didn't need 10", so I made 20 clockwise circles with my allen wrench in the yellow hole while it's fully retracted in the housing case. Then you lower it to see how close you came and you can now make minor adjustments (up/down) turning the yellow hole. Always good to fully retract the screen and then lower after your adjustment to see the final result.
60 lbs in not that heavy, but you will need 2 ppl to install this mainly because of the size of the screen. My Epson 8700ub looks great on this screen.
