(More customer reviews)I just purchased this little EV RE90HW,got it super cheap from my nephew (I'm still hugging him) if you are looking for a mic. to reinforce your sound and one that is used for tricky applications look no further. All I can say is WOW!! this little guy will pick up anything that makes a sound, super clear,great definition, so far I have not had any feedback problems whatsoever. I was really amazed at how well and how hot this little guy is. I actually purchased several mics. from him (my nephew) the others were a pair of EV N/D267as. dynamic mics and they are fantastic as well if you were wanting to know. anyway back to this mic, I am a videographer and will be using it to pick up ambient sounds such as crowds at a wedding reception, band concert and it is small enough to use it as a lavalier mic, although you will need to cut back on the gain because as I said earlier it is a very hot mic, the sound is tremendous. I would recommend this mic to anyone looking for this type of microphone,and just remember, it is a condenser mic. so you will need to use phantom power. and since it is an EV product you know it is a mic. you can trust.
