This is only for Elinchrom Lights. not for any flash unit. JUST ELINCHROM
I need to return this item and change for other universal trigger set.
They should make a combo or set like this (one transmitter ans two receivers) for universal flash lights.
By the way, I have the EL 19360 Skyport Universal Trigger Set and its small, ligt, versatile, compact and well designed.

AOC L32W961 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Review

AOC L32W961 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
Average Reviews:

Whatever you buy, you always want to get the most out of your money. So when I saw an LCD HDTV for only $330 in RadioShack. I had some doubts about whether it was a quality product. Especially since there is always concern about buying a brand name that the average consumer knows little about. Then I did some research on the. They are best known as Envision and are the world's largest display manufacturer of high quality monitors and are a leading brand in Europe. After seeing this close up in a brightly lit store. I knew if it looked good there it would play well in my living room. However it was playing with a blu-ray demo dvd. So I needed to see how it played in my home using cable TV. Knowing that Radio Shack has a 30 days No Hassle Refund Policy helped to reassure me with my purchase.
A nice feature is that the base also allows the unit to swivel for a good viewing angle at any position in the room. Although to be best appreciated I would recommend sitting about seven feet away from the TV. After that your viewing angle should be fine from anywhere in the room.
The AOC L32W961 is a 720p HTDV, but handles 1080p Inputs and will upconvert your standard definition DVDs using a uponverting DVD player. The 32" widescreen display that delivers an accurate 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 1366x768 resolution. This new model now has three HDMI connections which should be enough for most users. If not,you could always purchase an inexpensive HDMI adaptor to add more inputs.
I attached the TV to a HD cable box and an upconverting DVD player using two HDMI cables from [...]. The remotes source button allows instant access of each connected component. Channel switching from SD to HD channels can be somewhat slow. However that is common with most HDTVs and HD cable boxes. The menu is easy enough to use to tune the picture and sound to your preferences. Using the remote , you are able to individually adjust each sound and pictures menu control with out having the entire menu on screen. Out of the box I raised the sharpness and lowered the backlight level. I adjusted the color temperature to cool and set the video noise reduction to off. The only time I have to make any adjustments is when I switch the backlight control up or down a few notches depending on the amount of light in the room at the time. The AOC has an auto contrast detection which automatically and accurately adjusts the picture. With the auto contrast detection set to on, the AOC's brightness and contrast controls seems to have little effect on the picture. The sharpness control does a fine job without adding any video noise. The picture is very detailed with the sharpness turned up just half way.
Overall ,the AOC32961 shows extremely accurate color, with excellent brightness and contrast. The 6ms response time means the screen has no trouble with fast-moving, full-motion images. This is very important feature for watching sports or action movies. HD TV cable programming looks phenomenal. I get vivid color, and a bright and well detailed picture on this set. DVD's upconverted to 108oi/p look very well defined. The sound is a bit low with DVD's but it can still be set to adequate level for a standard size room. There's also a headphones input for private listening. The AOC also has a VGA input for use as a PC monitor. I have not used it that way. However I have seen videos of it on [...] showing it working very well as a PC montor.
Switching between your various devices (DVD player, Cable Box, PC, TV) is extremely easy thanks to a source buton on the remote. Which brings up a list of the AOC's inputs. The current active input is higlighted in yellow. There are also buttons on the remote for each individual source input.
The AOC L32W961 delivered very detailed black levels when I watched The Dark Knight DVD on a 1080p upconverting Panasonic DVD-S54 DVD player. While watching the night scenes shadow detail was very good. I could easily make out details in the Batmans black suit as he stood in the darkness. The AOC's accurate color helped make the different fles. Felsh tones very accurate. The few sunlit outdoor scenes from The Dark Knight look very bright and sharp. The Audio is better than I expected and sounds best using the "movie" preset setting.
AOC seems very conservative when it comes to their specifications. However, I wouldn't be overly concerned with specifications. You will really need to see this TV and try to compare it to the major brand models costing about $150 more. If you do a blind test comparison, where you're not told which one is the more expensive. It would be difficult to tell the difference between the others. You might even pick out the AOC as the one you like the best. This AOC HDTV is rated among is rated among the top 10 LCD HDTVs by Consumer Reports. In addition to everything else this AOC HDTV earns a Energy Star logo. Tech Support by email is very good. I had a question about closed captions using HDMI cables and it was answered the next day. They also have a group on facebook if you need to contact them.

JVC KWAVX740 / KW-AVX740 / KW-AVX740 Double Din Multimedia DVD Receiver Review

JVC KWAVX740 / KW-AVX740 / KW-AVX740 Double Din Multimedia DVD Receiver
Average Reviews:

This is a great double din touch screen radio. The Detachable face plate is Golden for avoiding broken windows and a stolen stereo. I bought the Stereo wire harness for my 2001 nissan Xterra and the JVC KS-U30 usb video Cable for ipod and iphone. I have an Iphone 4. I did NOT need an installation kit for my car in order for the radio to fit, it fit into the same slot as the factory radio. I installed everything my self and it all works perfectly. I've had the Stereo for over a month now and it still works great. The Motion X app DOES work on the radio display. For all of the people saying that JVC is falsely advertising the app to work on their radios, you are All Mistaken. If you can't get it to work, its because you don't know how to set the radio up, not because the radio is defective. You have to play with the display inputs in settings to get the thing to work. Its not rocket science, I'm sure they'll get it; that or they have bought an imitation or the wrong jvc cable. For me the JVC Cable is a MUST for this stereo to get the most out of it. Any way, the sound is immensely better than my factory radio, the equalizer is great. The dvd image and iphone videos image are awesome, and the sound like I said is amazing. If you play with the av in display inputs from settings, you can use other iphone apps like vevo and stream music videos to your display, make sure you have a good data plan. You can Control your music library form the stereo or from the ipod. You can also hear tune in radio over the car speakers as well. The local radio stations all pick up like they should. You can customize the background of the display using a regular usb pen drive with pictures, you have to load and open the picture first, then go to settings and display to capture the photo. also easy. To watch dvd videos on the go, easy as pie, Youtube it.... at your own risk and I don't recommend it, just in case... You can also stream music from your phone by bluetooh to the stereo flawlessly. The only down side is the bluetooth speaker that comes with the stereo, I have it mounted on the back of the steering wheel and people say they can hear me only some of the time. I have to get a new speaker and see if it works better. The stereo does download your contacts and recent and missed calls. nice touch. The Bluetooth adapter comes installed in the stereo body, so if you don't see it in the packaging, don't freak out. Front aux works as it should for any mp3 player or ipod if you don't have the jvc cables. The buttons on the front are well made and not flimsy, the changing colors are cool, or you can set one to be steady. RDS only works if its available in your area I believe, I don't get the song names but I do get the station names for the regular radio. I don't have SAT radio so I don't if RDS works for that, it should though. The Touch Screen works great for all the buttons on the screen, it's sensitive so you don't have to press hard, you can also turn up or down volume by making a circle in the center, or next or previous track by swiping from the center to the left or right. All in all I think it was a Great Buy, I don't Regret it at all, and I'd buy it again if I had to. I chose the 6.1 inch over the 7 inch model because I like having the volume and menu buttons in the front, and the aux input with the 7 in doesn't have. I hope this review helps in your decision to buy the radio. Good luck.

Popcorn Hour C-200 Networked Media Tank (Black) Review

Popcorn Hour C-200 Networked Media Tank (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought the C-200 back in December 2009, it worked well for a while but died in August 2010, I had to send it back to popconhour for a new motherboard :( The device does play everything you throw at it and is faily versatile in that it can take an optional bluray drive and more internal store etc. Unfortunately it is an ugly addition to a home theatre setup. There is no offical support that I can see, most of the problems people have with playback seem to be addressed with firmware updates. It is NOT worth the price, there are many alternactive devices available now which do just as good a job, WDTV, PlayOn, ASROCK ION 330 etc. Trust me, it is a hassle to keep this thing working well. The forums over on networkedmediatank shows many uswers having problems which are NEVER resolved. Best steer clear of this box and all other popcornhour devices folks.

Yamaha HTR-6090BL 7.1-Channel Digital Home Theater Receiver Review

Yamaha HTR-6090BL 7.1-Channel Digital Home Theater Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was a previous owner of the Yamaha 5990 and recently purchased the 6090 as a replacement for it. I wanted to highlight a few of the differences between the two in features so that you can make an informed product buying decision. In the next few weeks 5990's will be going on clearance in order to make room for this new piece. Maybe you'll decide to go higher up on the Yamaha product line to the RX-V series, or try a different company. You decide
- Specifications -
As it sounds right now, just listening with my ears there seems to be no audible difference, but there are a few specs that a different inside from the last model to this model.
Dynamic Headroom 1.1 dB on the 6090. The 5990 had 1.03dB
Dampening Factor (IHF) 150 or More on the 6090. The 5990 had 140 or more
Maximum Input Signal on the PHONO is 60mV on the 6090. The 5990 has 100mV
The total weight of the product from the 5990 to the 6090 has dropped by 1 pound. From 37 lbs. to 36 lbs.
- Features -
The 6090 does have a couple of impressive new features which were the main reason I decided to purchase it.
Full pass through of 1080P video signals. The 5990 can only do 1080i.
Yamaha's proprietary iPod docking system. Using Yamaha's YDS-10SL iPod docking system you can connect your iPod to the receiver, control it, and charge it all at once. It works flawlessly and charges even when the unit is turned off (Although you can turn that off).
- Losses -
With all those new items older features have to go in order to make room and keep the pricing bracket.
The 6090 looses THX Select 2 Certification. As I said, the system seems to sound on par with the 5990 so I think this may have simply been used to save money by forgoing the expensive process of getting the branding. But if you see some of the slight differences above in specifications these maybe where the receiver fails to pass (I'm technical but not THAT technical).
The Front Speaker "B" Channel is gone.
Advanced Install Controls are gone. This included RS-232 input for advanced remote control systems, and the 12V triggers used to trigger other electronics in the room to turn on or off (such as a drop down screen, or lighting controls).
Those are the major differences between the two pieces. I hope this helps you out when attempting to decide what to purchase.

Make an investment in your surround sound home theater set-up that you'll enjoy for years with the Yamaha HTR-6090BL 7.1-channel receiver with 840 watts (120 watts x 7) of total amplification. The receiver is built around Yamaha's digital ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) design concept, which maximizes digital signal quality and minimizes analog circuitry to ensure the best possible sound. ToP-ART receivers include such defining attributes as ultra-high-current amplification, high-performance 192 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converters, an upgraded Pure Direct listening mode that provides terrific signal purity, and an impressively wide frequency range of 10 Hz to 100 kHz that helps digital audio sources like DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD reach their full potential.
This receiver incorporates the HDMI 1.2a specification, which transmits pure, crystal-clear digital audio and video via a single cable as well transmit a 1080p signal from any 1080p component. And with the upconversion feature, your S-Video and composite video signals will be converted into higher quality HDMI/component signals to ensure the highest-quality picture on your HD monitor from any source. No more switching inputs according to which source you're using--rather, they can all go through the same HDMI/component connection. The receiver also offers the ultra-convenient Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO), which employs an optimizer microphone at the listening position to pick up test tones from your speakers. The HTR-6090BL then analyzes the test tones to let you know which speaker configuration is best. It's like having a professional audio engineer tweak your system.
What really makes the HTR-6090BL special, however, is its number of high-end functions, such as the 480i to 480p de-interlacing, the superior multi-zone control for listeners with multi-room speaker systems, the assignable amplifiers for users who want to create bi-amped speaker connections, and the pair of HDMI inputs for high-quality digital audio and video data handling. Plus, the HTR-5990 not only includes a standard AM/FM tuner, but it's also XM satellite radio ready, making it fully compatible with any separately sold XM antenna.
Additional features include an accurate touch-volume control, an enhanced dialogue mode for movies, a selectable nine-band subwoofer crossover, a night listening mode that helps you clearly hear all the surround programs at low volumes, and a full-function learning remote control.
With a bevy of digital and analog inputs, the HTR-6090BL can accommodate a ton of digital sources such as DVD players, CD players, video game consoles, digital satellite systems, and much more. The rear panel options include the aforementioned pair of HDMI inputs and one output, four optical digital audio inputs and two outputs, two coaxial digital inputs and one output, three component video inputs and one output, five S-video inputs and three outputs (two assignable), five composite video inputs and three outputs (two assignable), and four analog audio inputs and two outputs. Also present are a 5.1 multichannel input, a full 7.1 surround pre-out, and a set of front-panel A/V inputs for quick connections.
The HTR-6090BL measures 17.1 by 6.75 by 16.7 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a two-year warranty.
